Timber Wolf Lodge is located in Northwestern Ontario, the only resort on Winkle Lake and surrounding area. It is located 25 miles North on Hwy 502 (just 45 minutes from International Falls US/Canada border. Winkle Lake was chosen as the base site for the resorts operation because of its central location in a vast wilderness area, providing easy access to a variety of fishing and hunting.
Timber Wolf Lodge offers a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, excellent fishing and hunting and if you just enjoy nature you’ve come to the right spot.
From our base camp, anglers of all ages will enjoy some of the finest small mouth bass, northern pike, lake trout, crappie, muskie, largemouth bass, walleye and perch fishing in NW Ontario which can be found in surrounding lakes, accessed by logging roads, highway or portage. Launching ramps are available on some lakes.
For the hunting enthusiast this areas network of logging roads offers trophy deer, moose, timber wolves and bear hunting, with an abundance of grouse.
Timber Wolf Lodge has been referred to as the best kept secret in Northwestern Ontario, Canada.

Deposit required to ensure reservation of a cabin unit. Your cabin is not considered reserved until deposit is received. One person - $200.00, two persons and up - $100.00 each. Deposits are non-refundable. Personal cheques accepted for deposit only. Balance due in cash, travelers’ cheques or credit cards at time of check-in. Individuals are obligated to pay for the entire duration of their reservation.
